The regular 100 hours service on Yamaha 4 stroke motors is critical for any DYI boater that wants to keep his boat in reliable service. Not only is it important for proper reliable operation. This is the time when you get to find pending service items that could ruin your boating season.

This is a perfect entry level DIY job and gets the boat owner confidence and feel of his motor.

Basic Yamaha 100 hour maintenance consists of:

• Change Engine Oil
• Change Engine Oil Filter
• Change Fuel Filters
• Change/Check Spark Plugs
• Change Lower Unit Gear Oil * 

* Any water found in gear oil means that seal replacement on lower unit.
